Ricoh SP-4510DN is a single function mono printer, capable of printing up to 40 ppm, with a first page out in around 5 seconds. Just looking at the spec sheet we can see that this Ricoh Printer is built for business. Great performance, along with a high paper capacity at 600 sheets as standard, duplex print, large toners and high duty cycle mean this laser printer is perfect for busy offices needing a high quality and reliable mono laser printer.
The 4510 ships with everything you’ll need to get started, including a 6,000 page starter toner cartridge. This toner can be replaced with a regular, high or ultra high yield toner cartridge, and these yield 3,000, 6,000 and 12,000 pages respectively. As always we recommend the highest yield toner possible, as they significantly reduce your cost per page, and contribute to a much lower total cost of ownership. In terms of connectivity options the 4510dn has USB and Network connectivity as standard, and there’s optional Wireless connectivity available.
It works with Windows & Mac operating systems, and will also integrate with Novell systems, so it’ll be a good fit in most working environments. As stated before this printer comes with a 600 sheet paper capacity as standard with both the main tray, and the multipurpose feeder. This number can be upgraded to a maximum of 1,600 sheets, with the use of additional trays. If you can, we recommend getting hold of these additional trays, as they not only increase your paper capacity, but they greatly improve you printer’s versatility.
Having several trays means you can have different types, weights and sizes of media, ready to print on at any given time. And given this printer can print on pre printed letterheads; it makes sense to have a tray dedicated to doing just that. The 4510dn can print at up to 40ppm and it does so pretty quietly.
