Canon i-SENSYS LBP6230dw is a compact A4 mono laser printer perfect for small offices. In the box with the printer you get all of the software and documentation you’d expect, a power cable, a USB cable, and a toner cartridge rated for around 2,100 pages. The input tray can handle up to 250 sheets of standard office paper, or anything up to around 163gsm in various sizes.
There’s also a manual feed slot, perfect for specialty media like smaller paper, transparencies and even envelopes. This machine prints at up to 25ppm with a first page out in around 6 seconds, bringing great performance considering it’s price point. Along with its maximum duty cycle of 8,000 pages per month, tells us it’s going to fit in well in small and home offices, or indeed anywhere else that needs a printer that’s good for light print runs.
You can connect to this canon printer via both USB and network cables, as well as over Wi-Fi, so it’s surprisingly versatile for a printer at this price point. The ability to print wirelessly will appeal to many modern homes and offices, and duplex printing not only saves on paper, but makes for more professional looking documents. The print quality is good, it’s well designed, and compact enough to fit almost anywhere. The connectivity options impress us, it’s energy efficient, and all in all a good little printer.
